Take time for the Voice of God

Many times we are occupied with many life events and daily routine and those things become our very focus for each day. Our focus are shifted from our Heavenly Father to other things. Have we ever thought of pausing for a moment just for God's sake?? Have we ever allowed ourselves to stop and think??? Think upon our relationship with God and God's people.

Perhaps one would say, 'I am just so busy, can't even breathe properly, things just get an upper hand, I can't stop, I can't sleep early at all! I've got no time for other things!' Interestingly and fairly, God has given each of us the same hour to enjoy each day, not one is given shorter or longer time which means we can actually stop from worrying, pause a while and think about God more.

It is just a matter of 'choice' you make. Please think about what I have just said, we are given the same amount of time each day, you don't get shorter time or I don't get longer time for the day. God is fair! God is good! God wants us to have a good sleep when it comes to bed time, not that God wants you to stay up so late, being so unfair to you that you don't get enough sleep but others do. Again, think about what I have said just now. If you feel that time is not enough for you, make some changes in your schedule and learn to prioritise things to do. You can play a part in organising your time better for the day and allowing yourself to rest in God's love.

God is ever speaking to us only if we can take the time to pause and listen to Him.

God can impress people with His idea and truth. I occasionally get the impression from God with His truth about myself and others. I thank God for speaking to me often, so I might be corrected with my wrong beliefs. God will speak to us all, not just me. When we are really to take the time, He will speak gently to us. Are you willing to put aside some time for God today?

I would also suggest you to keep a prayer journal or a revelation journal. I used to write down my prayers a lot in the past. I stopped doing that for quite some time and only recently, I do that again! Thank God! It is such a good habit to write down our prayers and see how often God answered our prayers! We can keep it as a record for God's faithfulness and it will help us to know and remember God has always been faithful. I also opened a book to write down anything God says to me so that I know that I know that God is speaking to me, guiding me into His truths. I pray that you will start this habit of writing down prayers and revelations too. God bless.
