Do we realise that we are not just living in a physical world that we see but also a spiritual world?? The Bible described God is a spirit. We cannot see God with my physical eyes and yet we know that He exists. For those that put their faith in the name of Jesus, we received Him by faith and Jesus promised to give us Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit will be living within us. Just a thought...we know that there are many people on this earth worshipping different gods, some even worship Satan. Don't be surprise by this, there are indeed people who worship Satan, those people seem to know who Satan is, they chose to worship Satan instead of God. You can check it by typing Satanism on Google Search and you will be amazed how many people are worshipping Satan. Amazingly, those non-believers seem to have such an awareness of spiritual reality rather than us believers of God!!!
I know some christian friends of mine, they don't believe in deliverance or any spiritual attack. They assumed that once they received Jesus Christ, they are free already and they will not encounter any issues on the inside, they are healed. In truth, we learned from the Bible that we as believers are to put on the Armour of God - the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness for our protection. The Armour of God is essential for us to fight in the battle. As long as we are living on this earth, we will have a common enemy which is Satan himself, for the Bible said that, Satan is the ruler of the world we live in. We will struggle on this earth and we still have a battle to fight, let's face it! Don't kid ourselves and think that we have no more issues anymore!!
Instead, face up to our own truths, acknowledge our struggles, hurts and wounds or even fear. Present those things at the feet of Jesus, trusting Him to deliver us in His ways and timing! Amen.
If non-believers can see spiritual world clearly, and so shall we as followers of Christ Jesus. We shall know and acknowledge that there is a spiritual world out there. Some evil spirits are out there against the followers of Christ Jesus which is us. We can't deny it, we need to face it with the Armour of God. God will bring us victory but we as His followers need to learn from Him how to fight properly.
Ephesians 6:12, "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places."
1 Peter 5:8, "Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour."
Ephesians 2:1-3,"And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind."
2 Corinthians 10:3-5,"For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ."
Think again, if non-believers have the awareness of spiritual reality, so shall we as followers of Christ Jesus. May the holy spirit guides you into all truths. God's word is the only truth we hold onto, be blessed in the name of Jesus. Amen.
